Table Quiz

Lisa McPhillips and Danielle Quigley’s Table Quiz in aid of the Zambia appeal has been rescheduled for next Sat week 7^th May in the Tank bar at 9pm. Please support this worthy cause.

Denn Gaelic Football Club

The Blotto Draw took place in the Tank on Mon. 18^th April. The winning numbers were 15, 22, 25 & 28. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners were James McPhillips, Ann Callaghan, Seán Kiernan, Paddy Ferguson & Fr Liam Kelly. The next draw will be on Mon. 25^th April in The Crosskeys Inn.

Recent Deaths

Scrap Metal Collection For Parish of Dennn

Don’t forget the scrap metal collection day on next Sat. week 30^th April in aid of Drumavaddy & Crosskeys church funds. We will be helping the environment and raising much needed funds for both churches. So please spread the word & gather the metal!

Holy Week Ceremonies

A sincere thanks to all who helped organize and took part in the church ceremonies in both church during the past week. We thank the sacristans, choirs, altar societies, liturgy groups, Eucharistic ministers, readers, altar servers, collectors and all who helped in any way. Your involvement is greatly needed and much appreciated.

Round Table Quiz

A Round Table Quiz In aid of Maireád Smith, Drumahalla, (who is doing voluntary work in Kenya with Suas Educational Development) will be held in the Carraig Springs on Fri. next 29^th April 2011 at 9pm €20 per table. Please support.

Cake Sale in Aid of Zambia

Gary McCaul will be having a Cake Sale on this Sun. 24^th April after 11am Mass in aid of the trip to Zambia to support the work of the Sisters of Mercy. Please support.

Blessing of Graves

The Blessing of Graves will take place this year in Crosskeys on Sun. 17^th July after the 11am Mass and in Drumavaddy on Sun.31^st July after 12noon Mass.

Crosskeys National School

The pupils of Crosskeys National School recently raised €159 for the raffle in aid of the Lourdes Invalid fund. They also raised €400 in the Easter Egg draw in aid of the Breifne College fund raising for Zambia. Thanks to the pupils and parents for their generosity in supporting both these worthy causes.

25 Card Game In Aid of Zambia Mission

The recent Card Game in Fr Jason’s house in aid of the Zambian mission raised a total of €980. Thanks to all who helped out, played and gave donations to this good cause.
