month. Fr Liam hopes to be bringing
Communion at the usual time on that day.

will be blessing of the throats at both Masses in the parish on next Friday
evening. Please note that the Mass in Crosskeys is at 7pm on next Friday and in Drumavaddy at 8.30pm

Bishop MacKiernan Annual Memorial History
Lecture
Will be given by Dr Colmán O Clabaigh, OSB, on Tue. 31st Jan. 2012
at 8pm in the Pastoral Centre (St Patrick’s College), Cavan. The title
of the talk is Fish, flour and fabric:
the lifestyle of the friars in late medieval
Curate’s House
The Church Finance Committees are discussing
the possibility of selling the curate’s house in Killatain. If anyone is interested in buying it please

Most weeks we get more notices for the
newsletter than we can fit into it. Please make sure you get your notice in
early in the week. Usually there are more items on our weekly newsletter on the
parish website www.parishofdenn.com
than in the printout. Priority is given to notices that are relevant for the
week ahead.
Denn GFC Club Membership
2012 club membership is now due. In order to
be entitled to the rights of a full member these must be paid. Stand alone
membership is €40 for the year. Combined membership and Blotto remains the same
as last year. Special rate available for students & unemployed.
All who have paid by Sun. 5th Feb. will be entered in draw for a
Club Breifne ticket. To renew membership contact any
club member. Anyone who uses club facilities, even for walking, must be fully
paid members to be insured.
Drama
The Slieve Glah Drama Group will stage Caught on the Hop in the Town Hall, Cavan on Wed. 8th
Feb. at 8.30pm. All proceeds to Denn GFC & Crosserlough
